Life Coaching

What is coaching?

Life coaching is tailored to and focused on your needs and we work at your own pace. I support you in rediscovering your autonomy and confidence.

My work is based on the Transactional Analysis (TA). In addition to this I use my knowledge of methods such as Person Centered Therapy, Brief Counselling and Process Communication Model.

As a coach, I am also a learning facilitator. Life means change, movement. And change means learning. To be able to engage well with learning requires:

  • A protected, appreciative framework in which you can try out new things.
  • Regular feedback to see if I am still on track.
  • Encouragement and reinforcement to keep going.

One focus of my support is to help you to develop resource-oriented self-management. This will help you to achieve a healthy life balance and a high degree of self-determination. I support my clients in gaining their individual clarity. Knowing oneself is an important step towards assuming one’s own professional identity and being able to fulfil professional roles with confidence.

The focus is on promoting the growth process in:

  • Autonomy
  • Flexibility in perception, thinking, feeling and behaviour
  • Self-esteem (incl. awareness of strengths/weaknesses)
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to act
  • Awareness of growth processes/change

Coaching will be helpful if you want to:

  • Form relationships in a constructive way.
  • Rediscover your resources, strengthen them and discover new ones.
  • Actively tackle a new challenge.
  • Recognise conflicts and solve them constructively.
  • Tackle a professional, private or personal crisis.
  • Discard old behavioural patterns that are hindering you and get to know new ones.
  • Develop and try out new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving
  • Communicate efficiently.
